Eligibility

AgentRoost is available only to users who are at least 18 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement and that the information you provide (including your date of birth) is accurate. Accounts found to be created by users under 18 will be suspended and may be permanently deleted.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or paying for a subscription, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

AgentRoost provides managed hosting for autonomous software agents. Each subscription gives you one workspace running on EU bare-metal hardware with persistent disk, a public subdomain, and a browser terminal.

Service limits

Workspaces share the underlying network, so we apply a per-workspace fair-use cap on outbound bandwidth: 100 GB of outbound data per billing period. Going over the cap does not suspend or delete the workspace — we soft-throttle outbound traffic to about 1 Mbps for the rest of the period, then reset on your next renewal. The dashboard shows your current usage.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. One account per person. You're responsible for activity under your account. We can revoke accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AgentRoost to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), or run spam-adjacent services.
  • Distribute malware, exploit kits, or phishing infrastructure.
  • Mine cryptocurrency. (Including indirectly via your agent — if your workspace runs a miner, we suspend it.)
  • Run high-volume torrent seeding, public DNS resolvers, public proxies, or other shared-bandwidth abuse vectors.
  • Process child sexual abuse material, terror content, or anything our payment processors prohibit.
  • Probe, scan, or interfere with other AgentRoost workspaces or our infrastructure.
  • Defeat or circumvent our egress firewall or rate limits.

We may suspend or terminate workspaces that breach this section without refund.

5. Payment

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance via our payment processor (Polar.sh). You can choose monthly billing or annual prepayment; the price for each is shown on the pricing page.
  • We may change prices with 30 days' notice. New prices take effect at your next renewal.
  • All taxes are your responsibility unless we're legally required to collect them.
  • Failed payments suspend the workspace after a grace period; see the refund policy for details.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your workspace stays active until the end of the billing period you've already paid for (one month or, for annual subscribers, the rest of the 12-month term). Cancelling does not by itself refund the current period — the refund policy controls when a refund is owed. You're responsible for exporting any data you want to keep before access ends.

7. Our liability

We do our best to keep AgentRoost online. We don't promise specific uptime numbers. Where the law allows it, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data beyond what you have backed up, lost agent opportunities, etc.).

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your code, data, and agent outputs. We retain ownership of AgentRoost itself — the platform, the brand, the documentation, the marketing copy. You grant us a narrow license to host, process, and back up your data only to the extent necessary to operate the service.

9. Termination

Either of us can terminate this agreement at any time. If we terminate without cause, we'll refund any unused portion of your current billing period. If you breach these terms (section 4 in particular), termination is immediate and no refund is owed.

10. Changes to these terms

Material changes are notified to active customers by email 30 days before they take effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) take effect when posted; check the "Last updated" date at the top.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, where our infrastructure is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts of Amsterdam unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule in your country says otherwise.
