Build your own managed AI agent that lives in Telegram — from opening an account to a working bot.

Step 1

Create an account and sign in

  • 1Sign up at agentroost.app/account/login. You can sign in with Casper Wallet or other methods.
  • 2Add and verify an email — required for invoice delivery and legal compliance.
Email is the single contact channel for your agent's invoices and important notifications.

Step 2

Create a managed agent

  • 1On the Workspaces page, click New managed agent.
  • 2Select AgentRoost Managed Base — everything comes pre-configured.
  • 3Fill in payment details and start the subscription with Subscribe now.

Name and persona

  • ✓Give the agent a name (e.g. Casper) — it appears in Telegram replies.
  • ✓Pick a personality preset: Helpful assistant, Coding buddy, Writing coach…
  • ✓Move on with Continue.
You can change the name and persona anytime from the agent's settings page.

Connect to Telegram

  • 1Choose Use Managed Bots — bot creation gets easier. (Already have one? “I already have a bot”.)
  • 2Verify your Telegram identity; sign in and grant permission.
  • 3Open Telegram → follow the prompts to create the bot → press Start.
Tip: Note the bot's @ handle — you can find it easily later via Telegram search.

✓Connected: see the “Telegram connected. Your managed bot is ready.” message, then click Continue. The token stays encrypted server-side.

Choose a model

  • ✓Use AgentRoost credits — this package includes credits, so it's the recommended option.
  • ✓Pick a model that fits your task. For simple jobs, economical models like Haiku / OpenAI mini are enough.
  • ✓Free models exist too: Owl Alpha — free, but slower and intermittent under heavy load.
Alternative: you can also bring your own OpenRouter / OpenAI / Anthropic API key.

Launch the agent

Click Launch my agent. The agent becomes ready and running in about 30 seconds.

You can watch the readiness status in the top right.
✓Start using the agent by messaging the bot on Telegram.

Economical or free models for simple jobs, stronger models for deep work.

Note the @handle

Save the bot's @handle so you can find it via Telegram search later.
